Webhog, this system doesn't adjust the clock in the right direction. It is now 2 hours fast.

RE: Fresh Squeals!
Moarnin' everybody...thanks JDub, fellow Bangkokian, for the news about Norton. It's odd, I was just looking at Norton's site a couple of days ago before I knew today from your post that he had died. At that time, they didn't list his death. A kinda spooky coincidence. I met him on Maui once, where he was playing a benefit concert with Pat Simmons (of the Doobie Brothers and who lives on Maui) for Seabury Hall, a private high school on Haleakala Volcano. Pat had at least one child who attended there and he was very active in the school as a parent.

Lots of fireworks here this evening in celebration of Loi Kratong. Let's float a loi kratong boat on a body of water today in Norton's memory.

Peace...over and out.

Later edit: As of this moment, Norton's site still doesn't list his death, at least that I could find. Wikipedia, however, does.

sooooo -weeeee !!!

Pearlington Fundraiser
Thought this was worth mentioning again!

One of the fundraisers we are doing for the Pearlington, Mississippi trip is a Jambalaya dinner on Saturday November 7th at 6PM. It will be held at Felton Presbyterian Church’s Taylor Hall, 6090 Highway 9 in Felton.

There will be a slide show, chronicling the previous trips and work that has been done, and there will be musical entertainment from a couple of local singer/songwriters, Elisabeth Carlisle, and a young man named Jared Fujishin…ALSO, The Presbytones (that’s my acapella quartet) will have a few songs to contribute!

There is no cover charge, strictly donations. Smile

For all you local swine, come on out and support a good cause and have some good food and fun! Smile

I may even be debuting my new blues song “Goin’ Back To Pearlington”, which Vick helped and inspired me to write!

Be there or be square! Big Grin

Some other ways to contribute to this latest trip to help those who lost everything to hurricane Katrina: Donate using the PayPal account at this blog site http://www.ca2ms.blogspot.com/
For those of you who are actually lucky enough to still have a credit card…with a balance…just click where it says donate…and tell them it’s for Ralphie!

OR

Send a check to:

Felton Presbyterian Church
Attn: Brittany Overbeck
6090 Highway 9
Felton, CA 95018

And put Ralphie/Pearlington in the memo line…and if your address is not on your check, include that, so they can send you a receipt (remember, tax-deductible!)

Thanks!

The Suits at the top of the KPIG (Mapleton) food chain have been unusually quiet lately...probably too busy scrambling to protect their jobs to care about what's going on here!! Confused

Friend sent this to me. Thought I's share. Smile

Last night my sister and I were sitting in the den and I said to her, "I
never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and
fluids from a bottle to keep me alive. That would be no quality of life
at all, If that ever happens, just pull the plug."
So she got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my wine. Big Grin
