Cyber-Monday was a kick for me in my little store. The USPS letter carrier looked like a deer in the headlights when she saw all the mail order packages. Confused
Definite sign of the economy. No "big ticket" items all weekend. Work twice as hard to make the same amount in sales of small items. Wink
I'm not complaining. The doors are open, the lights are on. Some of my neighbors are struggling. Happy Holidays.Smile
Lynn and I are in charge of the Tree Lighting in the Village on Friday at 5:30. The Mayor will plug it in. Shoreline Middle School Band will play, and Lynn and I will serve coffee from Grinds, cookies from Whole Foods and Hot Chocolate from Costco, all are welcome.Beer

RE: Fresh Squeals!
A Montana rancher got in his pickup and drove to a neighboring ranch and knocked at the door. A young boy, about 9, opened the door "Is your Dad home?" the rancher asked.

"No sir, he isn't," the boy replied. "He went into town."

"Well," said the rancher, "Is your Mother here?"

"No sir, she's not here either. She went into town with Dad."

"How about your brother, Howard? Is he here?"

"No sir, He went with Mom and Dad."

The rancher stood there for a few minutes, shifting from one foot to the other and mumbling to himself.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" the boy asked politely. "I know where all the tools are, if you want to borrow one. Or maybe I could take a message for Dad."

"Well," said the rancher uncomfortably, "I really wanted to talk to your Dad. It's about your brother Howard getting my daughter, Suzie, pregnant."'

The boy considered for a moment. "You would have to talk to Pa about that," he finally conceded. "If it helps you any, I know that Pa charges $500 for the bull and $50 for the hog, but I really don't know how much he gets for Howard."

RE: Fresh Squeals!
I got an email about a so-called CDC "Personal H1N1 Vaccination Profile". Once I saw where the link was going to go, I immediately went to snopes.com and found out that my suspicions were confirmed: it is simply a phishing lure.

The CDC does not send out bulk emails. The domain is registered off-shore (an Isle of Main ".im" domain) and the bogus email has a link that takes you to a page that leads to an .exe file link that is meant to trick people into downloading a phishing file. Do not be fooled and for hog's sake don't think it's a legit email from the CDC cause it isn't.

The email link takes you to a site that is not a legit CDC website, but a phony phishing site. Please let everyone you're connected to know about this. Everyone is getting these bogus emails, so when you get it delete it immediately.

Coming home thinking of "Daghters of Scotia" singing sweet and shrill. Outliving the Scottish Clans regardless of their persuassions.

We all gonna die someday lord; we all gonna die someday.

My first mistake is gettin up tomorrow; yet, I wish you would walk into my house or the bar i work at. Would make my day. We would sing some songs without an internet jukebox.

Hope yuns well. Especially Arden, Lass, and Her Family every day of every year.

Oregon v State Thursday. Good game for a thursday.

Hope Regina is still strumming and singing. I hope Joe Torre made the Brooklyn Bums' stadium help some money this year. Vin Scully, and the organ player is all I need.

Love to All of you is more important. And for ours serving overseas. And theirs, and our leaders.

love from Ferry; thanks for streaming. i wanna be a frisbee golf boy. Here's to Arden, and every single one of you kicking some plastic disc's ass. "Spalding Ace's" on a four-wall court was my diversion.

Here is to everyone here, and Scottish Lassies. Aye.
