I know. I also know that it's not something you would be interested in and out of respect for your moral belief, I don't see any point in posting in detail when it is meat. [Image: smiliehugs.gif]

Hey, nobody else refrains from discussing meat out of deference to my moral beliefs! Believe me, I know I'm in the minority here. Other people do enjoy hearing about your meat dishes.

I'd also go for a flat tax; build a bunch of safe nuclear reactors (sending the spent fuel into space); no more dependance on imported oil, although we still need oil for plastics and other things and we have enough land based wells to deal with that; term limits of no more than 2 reelections; cap on funding of campaigns which would be tied to Cost of Living Index; burn all Walmarts and get out of the underarm of China, etc. etc. - sorry - on my soap box........

And life goes on

I agree on the flip side - I don't take issue with the fact you (Arden) eat a lot of vegtables. I believe vegtables have feelings too - being picked out of the ground, ripped from their roots, the little baby tomatoes separated from their mothers who are then ground into salsa...... And lets not even talk about how the aspargus feel........

Oh....... Never mind......... Just playing....... LOL

Okay, it was nothing spectacular really, just bison burgers on homemade buns with baked beans and chips.

Which reminds me, have you tried those Terra Sweet Potato Chips? They are really pretty good. Bill doesn't care for them but I really like them.

As you can tell, I'm in a very good mood today - just hanging out. Speaking of hanging out - I went to the greenhouse yesterday for flowers - they aren't quite what I was looking for - need another 2 weeks - HOWEVER - I bought this incredible mixed flower hanging basket $29.95 which will be installed on a shepards hook over my mailbox. Everyone agrees (in the 'hood) that it was expensive but they all say WOW. I love flowers. They make me smile. This one certainly does. It is so awesome and will be the focal point for the rest I plant in a few weeks.

Monica! You like Bison Burgers? They are J and I's (?) favorite and very healthy, although expensive.

Love this new Jakob Dylan. Smile

We eat bison often since we have a good source for it though our coop.

that doesn't sound like too much money to me, Kevin.
It sounds beautiful. Take a pic after you've got it installed, okay? Smile
I love flowers, too. The only time you won't see fresh flowers in my house is when I am just flat broke. Otherwise, I always surround myself with them. Right now, I have irises on the kitchen table, and freesias on the piano ...

Politely, I will offer this: Considering the ecological (and economic) damages of coal and oil, nuclear is far safer. That's my thought. There IS a safe way to do nuclear, it's all over Europe, and the reactors there and here have, in the big picture, been pretty darn safe and have produced oddles of electric. But maybe we should let this go for now and enjoy the day. Obviously we differ on this issue and I don't want to get into it. Rather listen to the music!!!!!

I'm the neighborhood lunatic that plants flowers around the fire hydrant in the meridan and waters them all summer. Every year is a little different, just to keep the neighbors on edge!!
