Joni! Thank you for always playing the things that make my Sunday mornings.

I need to get moving. Lots of cooking on the agenda and I want to get it done so I can relax later this evening instead of baking until after 9 p.m.

Have a great show. Smile

okey dokes, have a good one

seriously, cooking is just a great activity to involve kids in, on every level ... teaches math, yes, and reading ... science ... how to follow directions ... and so much more. best of all, Kayla and Deborah are building the sweet memories of a lifetime. Smile

hahhahaha. my daughter Sarah (15) loves baking... she's pretty good at it, too. cookies, cakes, cornbread, pancakes, waffles, etc etc.

just the other day, she was laughing that she was baking cookies or something with some other girl scouts, and the other girls were like carefully measuring everything, arguing over just how much, meanwhile, Sarah is more into scoop of this, pinch of that, dollop of the other, and she was done and in the oven while the others were still arguing over whether the flour should be measured before or after its sifted. they watched her in horror that she wasn't carefully measuring everything.

An amazing personal triumph Ralph.
One of the the great rewards of your accomplishment is that it demonstrates
how capable we are of changing things in our lives when we just commit ourselves.
My sincere congratulations! Thanks for sharing with the pigs.

Ellie and Ramblin' are okay, but the rest of the Pigs around here could stand to lose 10 or 20 pounds. Other benefits...no more sleep apnea and I haven't had a gout attack in over a year, and that one was extremely mild! Big Grin

Okay, Aileen, Sleepy John and Vicki can also be excused from dieting! Smile

I've been trying to get Frank to give it a shot!

Ralphie, I gotta admit that we pigs shed a (tiny) tear when we see our poster pig for KFAT lookin' so fit these days, but that's nuthin' when we think about how long you've extended your life so we can share your presence here at KPIG for a few more decades. Smile Right on, Ralphie!
