Archaeology Lectures at Cabrillo College
Dear Friends,

This is Dusty, I teach archaeology at Cabrillo College. I have sent this email to invite you and your families to a free archaeology lecture on the Cabrillo campus. On this note, local archaeology has gained significant media attention since human remains were discovered at a local archaeology site a few months ago. I thought this would be an appropriate time get a group of local archaeologists and Native Californians together to speak about Central Coast prehistory. The lectures will focus on a wide range of topics including the oldest archaeological sites in California, the archaeology of Monterey and Santa Cruz, Native American religious practices, and the relationship between archaeologists and Indian peoples.

The lectures will be held on October 27th from 6:30-8:30 in the Horticultural Center (room 5005). I have attached a flier to this email. Hope to see you and your students there! Please contact me if you would like more information dusty@cabrillo.edu.

Best Regards,
Dusty
