I know I've started a lot of these "talented female singer-songwriter" threads. But I have to start one more, for a most deserving lady: Antje Duvekot.
She opened for Red Molly when I saw them in Berkeley in January. She is a warm, sunny, sweet, funny, thoroughly genuine, thoroughly delightful lady. And I sure do like her lovely songs!
If you like her and want to see her live, she will be playing at the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley on Wednesday, June 18.
When she played this song in January, she said that she stopped playing it in concert for a while because she didn't think it was a very good song. I beg to differ; as far as I'm concerned, it is a small masterpiece!
Nice video, too.
