Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act
BREAST CANCER PATIENT PROTECTION ACT:
Protect Breast Cancer Patients from "Drive-Through" Mastectomies

The Bipartisan Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act Needs Your Support!

Representatives Rosa DeLauro (D-Connecticut) and Joe Barton (R-Texas) and Senators Mary Landrieu (D-Louisiana) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) recently re-introduced the bipartisan Breast Cancer Patient Protection Act in Congress.

Please join 23 million others in signing an online petition urging Congress to pass this critical legislation, which would end the practice of so-called "drive-through" mastectomies. The bill would require insurance companies to cover a minimum 48-hour hospital stay for patients undergoing a mastectomy. It's about eliminating the 'drive-through mastectomy' where women are forced to go home just a few hours after surgery, against the wishes of their doctor, still groggy from anesthesia and sometimes with drainage tubes still attached.

RE: Fresh Squeals...
Seems like it should be a no-brainer for insurance companies to pay to let women stay at least 48 hours in the hospital after such a major surgery.

I guess the key words here are "no" and "brain" and "insurance companies" Confused

I was pretty disappointed when no one even bothered to bid on my Michael Phelps cornflakes box. What did I do wrong? I thought for sure it would be snatched up by someone.

I guess I'm not very good at the whole ebay thing. Sad

I wanted to share this website. Not everyone is into New Agey stuff, but getting three free chapters of a book isn't too bad. (Personally, I don't know the author, but so far I like what I've read.)

It's a wonderful source of protein and it's completely vegan.

D.A. must not think it's a good product. It sure won't get anyone high cause hemp and pot are two different--though related--plants.

Don't be jealous, dude. It's all good. Big Grin
